Some movies I watch from time to time and others fairly often. How often I watch a movie does not correlate to how great I think it is. Sometimes just the opposite. Some movies are so good, thought provoking, and/or gripping that they deserve my full attention when watching them. Others are more for entertainment purposes, i.e. they are really good, however, Oscar-material they’re not. Either way, below are some examples of what I believe are great movies.
“Beautiful Minds” with amongst others Russel Crowe
“Festen” – a Danish “dogma” movie
“Lord of the Rings” based on the books by Tolkien, of course.
“White Noise” – a magnificent thriller about EVP. The sequel is not quite as good, but it’s okay.
“Blood Diamond” with amongst others Leonardo DiCaprio
“Avatar” – a wonderful “Fantasy” movie in 3D (where available *S*)
